Being a parent is not easy at times, we all need somewhere to turn to for advice and help in areas in which we may not be experts.

ICE is there for you when you need help concerning your child's education. They may be super-bright and need extending so they do not get bored, or maybe they are just stuck on a hurdle and need help to get over it, or maybe your child has some form of learning difficulty.

PARENT COURSE TO BOOST FAMILY EQ

Victoria Carlton , Director of INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE, and author of the EQ4KIDZ program will be presenting this stimulating seminar. You will be uplifted and empowered to help your family become the close-knit, circle of love you have always dreamed about.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE is the key to healthy self-esteem, motivation and ability to set goals and follow-through. It is far more important than IQ in terms of predicting successful school results and future mental health . EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE can transform families and promote harmony and happiness. The strategies we will be teaching are applicable to ALL families and will raise self-esteem and promote positive, optimistic attitudes.

Since launching our EQ4KIDZ courses, we have realised the importance of teaching parents to put these strategies into their homes. We can also now offer this course to schools and other organisations that offer help to families. The course is open to all parents and would also be of interest for teachers.

Thursdays the 7th and 14th August 2008

TIME: 7 to 9 PM
