Welcome to ICE.
The INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE (ICE) is a private organisation, set up and run by Victoria Carlton, to provide quality tuition for children so that they will reach their full academic potential. ICE also provides professional development to teachers and corporations on topics such as MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE and EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, Jolly Phonics and phonemic awareness.
ICE caters for children of all ages (Primary and High School), talents and ability levels.
We can help you if you need help with learning difficulties in any form, from basic English, reading, writing, spelling or maths all the way up to Year 12 subjects, or maybe your child has been diagnosed as Dyslexic, ADD or ADHD. We also can help to show your child how to study and organise their time and how to improve their self esteem.
You may wish to send your children to us, or seek our advice for many reasons. Beside those mentioned above these may include:
- Low Self Esteem
- Phonics
- Bad Behaviour
- Hyperactive
- Dyslexia
- Brain Gym
- Art Therapy
- Individual Tuition
- Hands-on Learning
- Study Skills
- Examination Techniques
- Organisational Skills
Multisensory learning methods are used and each child is assessed to determine strengths, weaknesses and preferred learning styles.
ICE is based in Perth, Western Australia and Singapore, but services are extended to other States and countries, especially in Australia and South East Asia.

BENEFITS OF SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
We are often asked why we choose to teach mainly in small groups. Enjoyment of learning and transfer of learning to whole class environment. Self-esteem arising from meeting other children with similar difficulties. Opportunities to practise concentrating and working co-operatively in a small group situation. Children learn how to request assistance and support and direct their own learning.
We invite you to look at the rest of our web site and phone us to make an appointment or answer any questions you may have.
